find this the best indication of expected weather for the week ahead. Ery accurate in my area. Extremely useful in giving the picture in other area’s and countries. I don’t need any other weather information sources
The wind data is invaluable for making safe decisions on the sea.

Regular long term windsurfer, Windfinder Pro meets pretty much all my needs. Accurate. Map view graphics surprisingly helpful when choosing and planning spot with the prevailing conditions. Graphical statistics great for monitoring conditions to forecast to see if conditions come in, then reviewing conditions experienced after session.
I’ve been using this app for years to make daily farming decisions, and it’s consistently as accurate as a forecast can be. Used to check 3 apps a day, now just use Rain Today as my default forecast.
1) The wind speed (average and gusts) is always stated too low. I have been using the app for several years and always have to add5-10 Kts to the stated forecast to get the actual wind.
2) the forecast does not seem to actually update very regularly so it seems that once it set for the day it doesn’t then adjust throughout the day as conditions change etc?
Almost never wrong! I find the weather predictions are almost always correct and are updated regularly enough to be able to easily follow weather movements. I need no other forecaster.
I use Windfinder all the time when in Menorca. We have been boating for 13 years now and being able to study the conditions and plan trips on the easy to use App is very reassuring.

The previous version was good, but the new version is even better: simple to use, good clear graphics - I like it.
Windfinder Pro has been our go to App for sailing around the northwest coast of Scotland. It’s always been pretty accurate. I’m a bit disappointed the latest version only has 3hr step forecast on the Superforecast. Otherwise brilliant.
I use Windy all the time for selecting where and when I’m gonna kitesurf… it’s pretty accurate and I use it in conjunction with other wind Apps for the best results
