Description

From Brigitta Rena, the creator of A Raven Monologue and She & The Light Bearer.

When the Past was Around is an adventure point-and-click puzzle game about love, moving on, letting go, and the joy and pain of everything in between.

This is the story of Eda, a girl in her early 20s.
Like anyone in her age, she’s lost.
She lost her way in the journey to achieve her dreams.
She lost her way in the journey to find love.

That until she met The Owl.

The man that would help her burn her passion,
the man that would help her find the spark in a relationship,
and also the man that would teach her about heartbreak.

The game tells a bittersweet tale between a girl and her lover in a surreal world consisting of disjointed rooms from memories and time. Good but have to pay

Great and very wholesome sweet game but you do have to pay for the levels. Only 2 levels are free and the others are payed. Very cheap to do the other levels though!

Gacha..lover.bxthx ,

You made me cry at the end .

This deserves the 10/10 despite having to play , the meaning behind it and everything , the end got me in tears when I realised Owl isn’t actually there , just for the memories and guilt ,
It makes me cry thinking how Eda somehow blames herself and has that cage of guilt ,
The way her appearance changes when she attempts to break that guilt and let it crumble It makes me wanna sob my heart out .
You developers tried so hard on it and I appreciate but I don’t appreciate making me cry BUT HONEST TO GOD EDA AND OWL DESERVE A PART 2 GAME . JUST ONE LITTLE GAME WHERE WE SEE EDA NOW , PLAYING HER HEART OUT ON THAT VIOLIN KNOWING OWL WILL BE WITH HER EVERY SINGLE STEP UGH

amazing!

I played the free version and then decided to buy the full. This was definitely worth it! The game is in a style which reminds me a lot of another game: Omori (which is only on PC and console so it’s really cool that you can get it on iOS) because of it’s unlocking suppressed memories storyline. I really like how you, the player, slowly understand what has happened as the game goes on. Would totally recommend, beautiful game!
