Ratings and Reviews
Can't hear dialling and Bluetooth headset doesn't work
Mind you if the Bluetooth headset did work, sound quality would suffer because hardware limitations of iPhone mean that Bluetooth and WiFi don't play nicely together.
I used Sipgate in the uk and couldn't hear any ring tone - not sure whose fault that is, but not had problems with Sipgate previously.
Other than that, sound quality good and no discernible delay.
I agree with some of the other reviewers about the interface requiring an update.
Works as it says on the box
I have been using this software now for 3 months, works well. I run my own asterisk server for my family. It works with my Bluetooth headset and a VPN back to my own server. Only downside is if a receive a GSM call during the voip call i lose the voip call, also can't receive voip calls unless the app is running, these are limitations with iPhone. Otherwise does what it says and works well.
Works well with my Sip account but no ios4 support
This app works perfectly for me when I have it open the whole time but ios4 is not supported at time of writing. As soon as ios4 is supported And I can use the app without having to have it active all the time, then I shall up the rating to five stars. Still very good though. I'm yet to find another app able to accept my sip account settings from 1&1.
