WatchApp+ for WhatsApp ‪.‬ 4+

Good but…

This is a good idea, I can use WhatsApp on my watch easily and for free. I can easily message my friends through my watch and write my contacts. There’s just a few little problems. 1: I get a pop up for premium every time I press a button. I can’t afford premium and whenever I exit a chat or look at someone’s details, I get a pop up. 2: it takes a while to load. I open one of my chats and it doesn’t show the messages for about 3 minutes. I wait and wait until finally I can see what I’m replying to, then I type my message. There is no keyboard and it takes a while for my messages to deliver. It’d be a lot better if WhatsApp just let you use it on watches.

Don’t waste your time

Signed up for the free trial with the intention of paying for the full year. The app appeared smooth but I did not realise it was because all the functions it’s meant to support are disabled. As soon as you sign app the whole app slows down and struggles to connect. It can’t download any videos either. When you open the app it gets stuck at loading. I tested voice messages and they work. When you are sent anything WhatsApp notifies you but not the app itself, I tried to turn on notifications but it’s not listed in the Watch app on my phone, you have to go into the app to reply or listen to voice messages if u can actually get in it. The keyboard it uses it’s not the built in keyboard from the series 7 and u can’t text swipe, It asks u to type on your phone. The input is very inaccurate too. I see why they don’t let you test any of the features without signing up for the free trial. Even pictures don’t load within a reasonable amount of time. You may as well go into your phone by the time you get into anything it would have been easier and faster to just do it on there. Loading older messages also takes way too long. Not functional don’t bother downloading even for the free version everything is blocked until u sign up for the free trial.

Nice app, can do better.

I must say I was a bit disappointed at the beginning! I’ve paid for the app and wasn’t even able to even open it. Looks like that now with the latest update I can see the profile pictures and also record voice messages. Could be better if instead keep pressed the button to record you just press once and stop when you finish to record. Also when you send voice messages why does it send as a voice memo and not as a voice message WhatsApp? That would be better.
