Description

The perfect FREE app for visitors, tourists and locals alike, of the best walks, runs and cycles in cities of the UK. Now live are Edinburgh, Oxford, and Manchester!

Our app of self-guided walking, running and cycling routes is all you will need to see the very best of a city.

All the routes in our apps have been created by real people, on the ground, who know the city inside out. We've walked, run or cycled up and down checking out every possible route for you - we don't just string together the 5 main sights and the shortest route between them. After all, where's the fun in that! We take you down the prettiest, most interesting streets instead - which might be slightly longer, but a lot more pleasant!

All routes are beautifully photographed, full of fascinating facts and with easy to follow maps. There are no in-app purchases required either - all routes are available for free once the app has been downloaded.

Now live on the app are London, Birmingham, Newcastle, Edinburgh, and Oxford with more cities coming soon!

Over 50,000 downloads to date! (across previous standalone city versions of the app - now all in one app!)

WALK
Are you visiting a city and want some key walks and routes to show you all the best sights? How about a few alternative walking routes to get you off the beaten track? We have created the best selection of walks to show you the highlights of each city as well as popular suburbs.

In London this includes places like Marylebone and it's hidden mews cottages; Notting Hill and Portobello Road; St John's Wood, Primrose Hill & Camden Markets; Little Venice and the famous Abbey Road; luxurious Mayfair and it's historic shopping arcades; the City of London and the amazing history of the Great Fire of London, Bow Bells, Samuel Pepys and Dick Whittington; the beautiful Holland Park & Kensington; and Fleet Street and the historic Inns of Court.

In Birmingham this includes the beautiful suburbs of Edgbaston, Harborne, Bournville and Moseley.

In Newcastle we show you the stunning City Centre, Quayside, Ouseburn and Jesmond.

RUN
Feeling energetic but don’t know where to run in a city when you're visiting or where is safe during daytime or night-time? You’ll love our simple selection of varying length run routes including 1.5km, 3km, 5km, 10km and 21km (half marathon) running routes in London, Birmingham and Newcastle. These take you past some of the most iconic sights of London, Birmingham or Newcastle on your run.

CYCLE
If it' s a lovely sunny day you can really see so much more on the back of a bike. We have created some great cycle routes, perfect for the whole family (or the keen cyclist) to see the best parts of each city. You will also find some bike routes through the lesser known areas and green suburbs.

In London we'll guide you through the lesser known areas such as Shoreditch, Hoxton, Chelsea and more as well as Royal Parks, the Thames and Canary Wharf and using London's Santander Bike Hire scheme to make it very easy and cheap!

In Birmingham we'll show you nice quiet routes through Edgbaston, Harborne and Moseley.

And in Newcastle we'll take you out to see the Angel of the North, or to the stunning coastline at Whitley Bay or Jesmond and the Town Moor. And always on the greenest, most pleasant bike paths or roads wherever possible.

So I really hope you enjoy discovering each city as much as we all did. And remember to send us your photos or leave comments on individual routes, we look at them all!

Get out. Be curious. See the city.

Great routes!

I cycled the Edgbaston route, which was very well thought out. I’m looking forward to trying the other routes sometime soon, including the cycle to Sutton Park and back. Recommended!

Excellent time spent following this app

I have come back from a day exploring a City that I have lived 20 yrs in. Sites I have never seen or knew existed. An app that has expanded my horizons.

Great app for visitors to Brum

Found this really handy for a walk round the city centre to see the main bits. Good directions and maps and plenty of background info.
