Great idea but some flaws

You get a free side for registering and in theory pick up stamps for every £12 you spend. But spending £50 gets you only 2 stamps and no way in the app to contact Wagamama.
This is probably a teething issue with either the app not being fully tested yet or the description being poorly written.

Email verification problem fixed

TL:DR
I had trouble registering and had to get help by contacting the Wagamama team via its website.
Once they were involved, all is OK. Hopefully this won’t be an universal problem.

Longer version:
First few tries at verifying my email: Ended up on a blank screen in my browser. Tried several times, not a connectivity problem. Deleted the app. Had response on here from developer (thank you) that the problem was fixed so I downloaded the new version and tries again, several times. Had to go to a new account with an alternative email address and in fairness that worked. Presume there’s some limit on number of verification emails to a given account. All looks like it will work now, but I have two accounts.
I have contacted Wagamama via web site (no contact option in app) and it has manually verified my primary email address.
I have asked for the secondary account to be deleted.

Upgraded rating from 1 to 3 and then to 4 stars…

Worked as of December 2024

Recently downloaded the app, sign up process was straightforward, the bill was accurate, and the gyoza voucher as a new customer worked flawlessly. I was hesitant about this app because of past reviews but in my instance everything was working as intended. Only downside is you can’t order anything yourself, which the vast majority of other restaurants apps have. Please consider this function, it would reduce waiting times for both customers and staff alike, thank you.
