VT Explorer is a worldwide ship tracking application. The vessel tracking system is based on collecting, processing and displaying real time vessel tracking data received from vessels' AIS transponders.

Demo mode

Crap, just sticks in demo mode. Don't bother

Completely useless

Turns out it is some sort of crippled demo, not made clear on the apple store, and no info as to how to make it usable or how much it costs to do so. Cannot even search a particular ship. Immediately uninstalled. Shame because their web version is really good.

JUNK! JUNK! JUNK!

Followed on line instructions, which got rid of the demo mode, and then left it down loading data for 8 hours while I went to bed and guess what; 8 hours later still downloading. Got maps but no ships. Sadly it's junk! Don't waste time with it.
