Description
Voxel is the original App Store 3D pixel editor! It's like Minecraft without all the mining. Use it to create simple sculptures, 3D icons, game-levels, or just to doodle with blocks.
Voxel is easy enough for kids to enjoy, but it is also designed for creative adults. Advanced users will appreciate Voxel's layering and advanced keyframe animation tools. Upload your models to the online gallery!
Simply tap in empty space to create the first block. From there you can attach new blocks to it by tapping any face. Or, toggle the grid guide to put blocks exactly where you want them. A color palette lets you change colors. Drag your finger on the selected block to rotate your view. Use a two-finger-swipe to rotate the view as well. Use the familiar two-finger pinch motion to zoom in or out -- or just hold your finger in one spot.
Now make models for use with Minecraft -- Voxel now imports/exports .binvox format!

I would like this app if not for the way the blocks jiggle around. Not so much it causes a problem but enough to really get on my nerves you know! Just sort that out and also the way the app asks for money(fix that right away i payed 69p and it said i had a free version my money is wasted heres a good calculation for you to use 0<69 it shows that 69p is not the same as "free") well just fixthose 2 things and ill improve my rating
Novelty will not last
This is a smart app and hats off to the developer, i am sure wonderful things are yet to come.. Autocad on iPad now that would be amazing.
Ok, here goes; app feels old, iPad can do so much more. The controls for the environment are buggy and can get you to the point where you convert your ipad into an effective flying device straight out the window.
By all means download it, have a play but i do not see people spending more than a few hours before getting either frustrated or bored with looking at square blocks.
As I said at the start, well done to the developer but I am sure you can do so much more....
Free version costs 69p...?
Hang on, so I paid 69p and downloaded this, only to be told I have the 'free' lite version and need to pay £1.49 to unlock the proper full version?
Quite confusing and nasty that a paid version, however cheap, is actually a crippled 'free' version (not sure how 69p is actually free...).
Sort this out and I'd happily give it a higher rating, as that aside it's a nice, intuitive app.
