This app has truly revolutionised the way I take notes with work and with my current university studies. As somebody who struggles with extrapolating data from large bodies of text and or meetings this has been nothing short of a godsend. I initially identified it’s a key fundamental usage as a tool within my own life very very early on so, it was a no brainer to dive in to Its very early first offering. I paid for the lifetime option and as an app, it’s probably the best ROI I’ve ever seen. As somebody that only has the use of one arm the possibilities and the ease of which this app has seamlessly blended into my life both professionally and personally I cannot thank the Creators and The Developers enough. No longer do I have to sit in meetings and asking people to repeat what they said because I cannot keep up with the typing. Which has always been a barrier since losing my arm 15 years ago the summary function is brilliant and being able to ask the app various questions to help better understand what’s been said or explained makes life so much easier and raises any confusion also being able to write an email based off of a meeting and the minutes that have been captured, or to summarise a piece of study material or even just to bring dump an idea and come back to you at a later date is something that is truly a game changing and life changing tool.

Words cannot explain how much of a game-changer this app has been so far. I am an extremely verbal thinker so dumping all my thoughts aloud has always been a helpful thing to do - but now instead of boring my friends and family or talking to myself in the car, I have this app. The capture of speech to text is for the most part impressively good and the ability to generate different types of outputs, the cross platform syncing and the unlimited time length on the paid version is just... LIFE. CHANGING.

If I had to pick one thing that's not perfect, the app has a real enthusiasm for inserting your pre-loaded unusual names into the transcript (mine thinks the sound of the indicator is my child's name) but it's such a tiny quibble and makes no difference whatsoever to the extreme usability of the app.

The issue that you noticed is the AI hallucinating when there is a pause in your talk - it is super sensitive (making it work nearly perfectly even at low voices) but the flip side is that when you are not talking and the recording is on, it picks up background noise (like the indicator sound) and interprets is as the closest matching word (your child's name), often based on the pre-loaded data like your 'names to remember' list.

We'd encourage you to use the pause/resume button wherever you take a break from talking while recording so this hallucination can be kept to a minimum.

Absolutely love the simplicity and effectiveness of this app, but I am having issues as some of my notes uploading and just getting stuck. Previously I’ve deleted the app to clear some unimportant notes by just now when I updated the four important notes I had stuck in ‘Upload’ were deleted. I’ve paid for the lifetime membership and I see such potential for this app, but at this bug is making me concerned that I will lose more important captures. I know it’s a small team, but I hope with the current success that support be considered in the near future. Having a sync option with Google drive, notion, or some other platform where at least the audio is backed up straight away, might be a good solution for this issue in the short term, or maybe just a folder where all the audio can be accessed rather than just the frontend interface. Looking forward to seeing the solutions and development of the app in the near future.
