VitaDock‪+‬ 12+

In terms of setup (with a Pulse Oximiter) it was pretty easy. Sign In with Apple didn’t work though, so I signed in by email. Connecting to my device was easy and worked first time. Sync to Apple Health also worked first time. 👍 Bits that need refinement. Doesn’t format well on my iPhone 13 (buttons too close to the top edge on several screens). Multiple user option as well is needed - seems to assume any devices will only be used for one person which is a bit annoying.

It doesn’t work. In times of COVID-19 when measuring your temperature is very important my ThermoDock infrared thermometer that I paid a whopping £70 at the time is completely ignored by the app running on my iPhone Xs and the Lightning to 30 Pin Adapter. As a plus “+” application I would expect to work with all the existing devices not just only the new ones, as I’m not going to throw away a very expensive and perfectly working infrared thermometer just because their IT managers decided it’s not cool to support it, if they force me to buy a new one that I don’t need then I will rather bring my custom to the competition. So basically I can only use my super expensive thermometer with the “VitaDock” (without plus) on my old iPad otherwise for the rest it’s an expensive brick, I really feet robbed and let down 👎🏽

App needs improvements in UI design, but most importantly basic functionality is missing. After a reading is taken, it is not possible to edit the reading to add if taking medication and how someone is feeling. This is only possible whilst the measurement is taken, not afterwards, why? It is only possible to add a note to tje reading but that means in the main list of reading,
broke down by day, weeks, months etc, it is not possible to visually see the icons next to each reading, which is very impractical. Please kindly update the app, with this much needed functionality! Thx!
