Can you finally add seamless sync with apple health

I have the strap free heart rate monitor device for few months now and works perfect for what I need the app with the ECG works good but when it comes to ViHealth working with apple health that comes to a problem. Heart monitor only register beats when i have apple health app open and checking the Heart rate which at that moment it will record my heart rate live but the moment you go back to your Home Screen, different app or even the ViHealth app the device doesn’t communicate with the apple health, it records all data on ViHealth app but there’s no sync with the health app. Please fix that as I use both of the apps and ViHealth is good but for my combined information I’d like to finally have the apple health app to have my heart rate data too.

Thank you

Effective and open

Unlike some other vendors such as AliveCor, this company allows me full access to the raw data from the app and does not require that I create an online account with them to provide them with access to my private information.

With my CheckMe 02 device this app provides a simple and basic functionality and at least initially it works well for me. Onboarding the device over Bluetooth was very simple to do and worked immediately without any problems.

The sync with my device on waking in the morning was simple and automatic.

As an app developer myself I can see some rough edges in the UX (the button for swapping between graph views looks like a page curl and is a confusing visual skeuomorph that would be better changed to a simple button or segmented control) and the lack of iPad support and support for landscape orientation is disappointing, however the effectiveness and simplicity of the app coupled with the vendors open data policy means that this app delivers everything I need and so I give it a 5 rating.

However I am so impressed with this app that I’d encourage the developers not to worry about those UX niggles but to invest in the stability of the app for those users having problems with various devices, its more important to focus on those things than additional features at this point. I am really, really, impressed both by the physical Checkme 02 product and the app and want this company to succeed and go from strenght to strength.

A good product at a sensible price!!

I have been using this app with the Oximeter and find it works quite satisfactorily. It also automatically saves the history to the Apple health app on my iphone XR (with ios 14) under Respiratory - Blood Oxygen- scroll down to - Show All Data to see recorded history from the Oximeter. It compares well with other data recorded on the Apple Watch. Mine is a Series 4 so doesn’t have the new Apple Blood Oxygen Level app but this app together with this Oximeter brings is up to that and whilst not essential, having a heart condition, makes it is a useful addition.

It is worth reading articles available online on the subject of Pulse oximetry. Overall, I think the app and device are as good as, or better than others costing a lot more and as the medical articles make clear these are only a guide not a medical solution. So I would say the makers are to be thanked for the work done in providing this at a sensible cost.
