As a software engineer, the moment I opened up the app I thought “oh dear…”

When loading the app you see some low resolution carousels that make you feel like you’ve landed on a 80s websites infested with ads and spyware. The app defaults to Vietnamese rather than the system default language as it’s suppose to.

This app is some broken garbage. I constantly get error messages, most of which do not make sense. You cannot download your boarding passes (I had to literally take a screenshot of the app and show that to the staff).

Also, the flights are also delayed by two hours because the pilots are overworked and cannot safely fly.

First and last time that I’m flying with them. Pay more money and fly with Vietnam Airlines instead.

Avoid this airline. I purchased flights from Phuket to Bangkok for my wife & baby. The airline took my payment but did not send my flight confirmation details. So I emailed them to get confirmation… However, It’s been 2 months and still their customer service have not resolved my problem and have not given me a refund. My stressful battle goes on… they stole my money. Avoid these amateurs.

Tried to upgrade my luggage allowance but Apple Pay normally the easiest way to pay kept failing. I then tried with my card, it took the money then got stuck on the “we’re processing your request” it was stuck on this for 15 minutes so I killed the app and restarted it only to find I still had the same luggage allowance but they had taken the money.
