Description
Veterinary Surveillance System (VSS) app provides veterinarians a tool to access and input disease information. The information is stored in a central database, monitored by artificial intelligence, and reviewed by a veterinary epidemiologist. The Veterinary Surveillance System (VSS) app provides real-time information to veterinarians and state-federal regulatory veterinarians concerning the location and prevalence of disease syndromes in large animals. In addition, it allows veterinarians to develop a diagnostic plan based on current surveillance data.
VSS also :
• Provides a network for rural veterinarians to be linked together through the virtual reporting
• Allows veterinarians in underserved areas to become members of a larger group, enhancing their ability to provide animal health services to rural communities.
