In the heat of the moment, as we frantically ransack the default emoji keyboard for a little yellow face, desperate to convey an emotion that we know is probably too subtle or specific to have warranted Apple’s official attention, we die a little inside when we realize the perfect emoji for this situation…doesn’t exist.
We so often settle for default emojis that capture a mere fraction of our full intended meaning, and it’s understandable—no one has really set out to solve this super important first-world dilemma—until now.
So I hope you enjoy these Very Necessary Emojis as much as I enjoyed imagining you enjoying them while I was making them!
*Note that this is an iMessage Sticker App, and therefore you will not be able to insert these Very Necessary Emojis right inside your text boxes. Sucks—I know! To make up for it, I set the sticker size to the same size as the default emojis when in their singular, large form, so that they fit in like family.

Great stickers.
Great stickers, but please consider putting the extension back in the stickers section of iMessage. It’s no longer possible to send these in third party messaging apps on iOS 17 since the latest update.
Reply: WhatsApp, Signal, Telegram all support it I think. Open up the emoji keyboard and scroll right to the start before the recently used section. Stickers are accessible there now :)

Amazing for the price - Plus an idea
I love these emojis and they’re well worth it for the small price. Looking forward to new emojis ever week.
Just wish I could use them with other apps like messenger and WhatsApp.
- Would really love to see an ( è.é ) emoji in the future. It’s an annoyed squinting judging you face. Best I could explain it
Sizing Issue
Please and I BEG PLEASE revert the emojis to apples new text bubble emojis, they’re supposed to go big when it’s one emoji and then smaller if it’s 2-3 and be text sized if more than that, the sticker versions currently are formatted in an unusable way and the only emojis currently formatted correctly are the speech bubble information emojis, I really want to start using these again but until they’re fixed I can’t.
