Timetable information and route planner in one place
The app chooses the best public transport route based on real-time traffic conditions
The start page displays all connections of regional traffic, the S-Bahn, U-Bahn and tram as well as bus and ferry routes throughout Berlin and Brandenburg.
Never be at the stop too early or too late or on the wrong platform again: Real-time departure times at stops with customisable views
You can add connections/routes to your calendar or share with friends via SMS, e-mail, Twitter, WhatsApp or other messenger providers
Favourite destinations
With just one click, you can switch between your favourite destinations with no need to re-enter them each time

Whatever ticket you need, you can purchase it immediately and easily in the app:

Travel with no barriers: Timetable information and route calculations now come with special search options for blind and visually impaired passengers
The app is optimised for use with voice-over support
Easier travel for passengers with wheelchairs, strollers, bicycles or luggage: The app shows the best place to board the train with barrier-free access
Keeping track
Your current journeys on all means of transport are animated and displayed LIVE in real time on a map – zoom into your surroundings and directly to your current location
All route networks in the network area (Berlin and Brandenburg) are stored in the app
In addition, all route networks are always up to date and can be used permanently offline after a single download
Ease of use
Easy to use thanks to access rights that are granted exclusively for this app.
Contacts: Addresses from your contacts can be used in the start/destination search (e.g. search for a connection to your best friend Petra by typing in “Petra”)
Calendar: Connections that you have already searched for and found can be added to your calendar as an appointment reminder
Geolocation: For displaying the nearest stop/address, for searching for a connection or the boarding station/stop when using a ticket on your phone
Photos and camera: In order to create individual destinations for route calculations, you can either take photos or select photos from your gallery.
Note: You can access the menu at any time by swiping from left to right!

Route search from A to B, next departures from a stop, tickets, route networks and live map - all the important functions are now always available at the bottom of the screen.
Reach your destination with the map: Start and destination can now be entered via the map.
Want more time to change trains? The transfer time can be customised in the route view in the app.
Plan individually: In the search settings, the number of transfers, the length of stay at via stations and the length of the walk can be customised.
Search once, always find: The start, destination and settings can be changed directly on the route planner results page.
Too small? Too big? The font size in the app can be adjusted via the smartphone and tablet settings.
Get out of your routine: push notifications and set delay alerts can be paused during your holiday.

Although I can speak German so could understand the directions, the app constantly went to an error page for myself and my husband when trying to register. There was insufficient information about what the ticket options were - eg what counts as a small group? we had to go and find cash then the driver sold us quite an expensive set of tickets considering we were not going far- more expensive than the app indicated they should be.
Poor for tourists
When you register in English, the security questions are in German. Having overcome that with the help of Google Translate, the confirmation text is also in German. Get past that and try to purchase tickets - no Apple Pay (or Google Pay) it won’t go properly to PayPal and if you try and pay by credit card it continually asks you to enter your address. You do that, save the data and then go round the loop again and again ….. All very poor.
Do not use!
The app will just take your money and then not load a ticket. The app doesn’t work without a network connection. Have issues? You have to email and hope they reply. Why do they need so much personal information just to get a €4 metro ticket. Stick to the machines in the station which are faster and easier.
