Subscription exhaustion
I realise developers need to get something back for all the work they’ve put in developing apps. But we’ve come to a point where you can’t take a step, without having to pay a monthly fee. And for me I’ve made the decision to only buy apps that use a one-off payment and maybe an x-year upgrade to a new version.

As a solo developer, currently my main efforts are on reaching Uptime Kuma's feature parity. The pricing model is not set in stone, and I'll revisit it once the app is mostly mature with more premium features. Why is this rated so low?
Fantastic app in my opinion. Push notifications behind a paywall is not a big deal to me. It’s like £10 a year, sure I’ll support and pay that. You can also use other services in your server like email alerting and Discord notifications which are free. So I don’t see the complain there.

A good app, perfect for my needs - only addition would be custom headers to allow access through Cloudflare Zero Trust.
