Ratings and Reviews
Appears to work
Only 3 days in but app and gadget appears to work on a XR I bought the necklace, because skin adhesive did not appear to be a longer term solution not tried that yet
Initial impression: easy to use, shows posture in real time
As I’ve just started using it I can’t speak for lasting effects on my posture, but the device is easy to use subject to dependence on rather expensive adhesive strips or necklace. I’ve improvised a simple cheap way. It gives a good real time phone screen indication of posture. Unfortunately there’s no Watch app but there’s supposed to be one in preparation. That would be a real advantage when walking. I note the battery drain comments. If that’s the problem others claim, could it be mitigated by making communication with the device intermittent? For the planned Watch app undue Watch battery drain would be an even more serious problem.
Great idea badly executed
The concept is great, but endlessly having to recalibrate its position on you (can be 4 or 5 times in 30 mins), the fact that it forgets to record you have had it on (data blanks when it has been on and connected to the app), the occasional stupid wildly inaccurate read out on upright time, when it was either switched off, or was on but in the vertical, the tendency of the GO, even when fully charged to shut down of its own accord, the slow updates when the central system doesn't work, all make this a no no. A pity since it does help, but becomes a pain to use given it’s unreliability. A pity. The app is also a heavy drain on phone power.
