Unfollow for Instagram ‪+‬ 4+

Would not let me log in until after 100 attempts due to the weird 2 factor authentication thing that would open safari and then instagram, it's made me suspicious thinking could they be able to hack my account by using the data from all these attempts. Will change my password but fear that I would get logged out and have to go through the same process over and over again so will just monitor my account. The app itself seems to do what it says and would recommend paying the £2 unless you want to watch ads all the time. Note. I uninstalled Insta and any other management apps, then turned off my wifi, and tried 2 more times before it finally worked (for anyone having the same issue.)

This app does what it says on the tin, just not very quickly! It unfollows a couple of hundred followers, then stops & says ‘Rate limit exceeded’, & sets a five minute timer going. Then after that it sets ANOTHER five minute timer going, then ANOTHER...😏 Then after a period of time, it starts again. So yes, it works, but needs a rest & a nice sit down between sessions. 😉

(My Instagram account was hacked & I acquired 5,000+ ‘followers’, despite my account being private - this is why I needed an app like this. Perhaps it’s too many for the app to comfortably cope with? However, it’s much better than the other two apps I tried.)

Very disappointed having paid for and been recommended this app by a friend. It pauses after a small number of unfollows and never restarts. Although it says the action is pending, it never actually starts again and stays stuck on the same number, even when you close the app and restart. My account had been hacked and after months of trying to get it back, I found I was following over 5500 people who I had not selected to. Obviously it would take weeks to remove them manually and I really hoped this app would help but instead all it has achieved is to lock me out of my account numerous times due to unusual/suspicious activity caused by the app. So be warned, unless they actually update the app and fix these issues, it is certainly not worth the risk of using.
