Umami Street Food 12+

I have read the bad reviews about the app & I can say, I had no problems with it when ordering for delivery. The only problem I found was that you cannot view the menu until the store is open
The food is quite expensive but if the food is great it will be worth it.

Ordered through the app last week, very bad experience. There must be a bug, as when we clicked menu options, the one above got selected. After eventually being able to add everything to the basket, we managed to choose the delivery option and pay. After an hour and a half the food still hadn’t arrived. We called the restaurant and they’d told us that we’d chosen collection which is why it hadn’t arrived. After raising our point about the app, (and more importantly that we were able to submit our delivery address and pay the fee!) the restaurant agreed that it was an app issue. But beyond the app, the restaurant gave us the options of at least an hour for delivery, or collection for 15 minutes. We collected only to see 2 drivers sitting and waiting with nothing to do. Again we raised our problems with the app with the manager, and they had told us that there were a few other orders with the same issue that night. No apology or compensation offered, except from being told that ‘if it makes us feel any better, we weren’t the only ones with the issue’. No idea whether our feedback was taken onboard hence coming here. I’d definitely avoid using or ordering by the app until there has been a significant update.

Not great. Layout doesn’t really fit on my iPhone SE properly. It kept logging me off so I had to re-login multiple times as I was using the app.

I selected an offer and clicked to order, I was told the total amount. After passing the payment screen I found the offer had been removed and I was charged more. I had to phone the shop and cancel the order then make the order again. Just use Just-Eat instead, much easier!
