Description
Do you know how long your vehicle's tyres will last? How much tread your tyres have right now?
Keep track of your tread depth across multiple vehicles to ensure they remain safe to use with this app. Input a few measurements over time, log your vehicles mileage and let Tyre Tracks estimate your remaining tread depth and when you'll need to replace your tyres. Receive notifications when it's time to add a measurement, and get warnings before it's time to replace your tyres.
This app uses previously submitted data to make estimations. Supplying more measurements will make estimations more accurate.
Always check your vehicle's tyres are safe to use by inspecting and measuring the tread depth regularly. This app only serves as a guide!
What’s New

Ratings and Reviews
Lovely app!
Exactly what I was looking for, after manually tracking tread for many years.
However, it would be nice to be able to tell the app the initial tread depth for each tyre. As the app seems to assume that every tyre starts off with 9mm. This means my brand new (fitted yesterday) tyres are showing as only having 82% life remaining, instead of 100%. As they start with 7.7mm tread.
Update: Thanks for your response and very happy to see it’s possible to set the original tyre depth in the latest update! (Just noticed the app supports the Mac too! Would love to see iCloud sync next. 😁)
Update 2: iCloud sync is now working, so I can see everything on my Mac too! Amazing!
Developer Response ,
Thanks for the review! Glad to hear the app is helpful.
That’s definitely something we can look to change. Watch out for a new version coming soon which will allow you to set the starting tread measurement when replacing tyres! In the meantime you’ll be able to manually update the old measurement by going to the Vehicle Menu (the car icon top right of the screen) and then to Tread Depth Measurements. That will allow you to update your first tyre measurement so that the life remaining statistic is reported correctly. If you need anything else feel free to reach out via our website!
Update: iCloud sync was implemented but might not have been working for some users. Those issues are now resolved, so enjoy seeing your tread depth data on your Mac too! 🚀💻
Incredibly useful tracking app
It is clear and easy to use, an app I didn’t know I needed! I particularly like the degradation graphs and estimated tyre replacement date
Clever tool
As your tyres are the only things touching the road, tread depth is critical for both traction and safety. Good little app that helps plan for new tyre expense!
