Tempest 1999
This game is heavily influenced by Jeff Minter's Atari Jaguar classic "Tempest 2000", although it doesn't come close to the Llama's chaotic psychedelic masterpiece. That said, it's still a 5 star game; graphics are good, control system works fine and difficulty setting seems about right. One thing that does seem odd is that the auto fire stops when the "ship" is not moving, which I think needs fixing.
Overall then, a good game, particularly recommended for nostalgia freaks like me, although at 69p is a bargain for any gamer.

It's basically like space invaders played on extruded curved, angular or wraparound shapes.
Retro graphics and sound but with a modern edge. Fun.
