Nice but a bit bare

This is a great little practice tool but I think it could do with more meat on it’s bones. Excersises could be split into sets, like do 10 or 20 then get a score at the end, try and beat your high score etc. Just stuff to make it more appealing to come back to. Then obviously adding more notes than just triads would be great. Purchased to support as it will help me reach my goals.

Good idea, but incorrect notes

The functionality is perfect, but the following notes should not be included as they don’t exist!
- B# or Cb
- E# or Fb

For example, I was asked for a C# major chord, which is C#, F, G#. I was ‘corrected’ by C# E# G#. Please fix this.

Developer Response ,

Hey RoryPTB,
Thanks for your feedback.
I think these are just enharmonics and in the context of a particular scale notes like E# or Cb actually do exist.
For example, the scale of G# is: G♯, A♯, B♯, C♯, D♯, E♯, F𝄪. Therefore the C# in that key contains the notes C#, E# and G#.
Sure, this is just a music theoretical abstraction and in the end, on our instruments, an E# is just F.
Please correct me if I‘m missing something here and contact me via email at danial@songwriting.tools!
Best,
Danial
