Description
TNAS mobile is a dedicated mobile APP for TerraMaster TNAS devices.With TNAS mobile, you can access TNAS locally and remotely on mobile devices, back up photos and videos from mobile devices, browse office or PDF documents, upload or download files, browse and play multimedia files, and you can even initialize your TNAS device with TNAS mobile. Note: TNAS mobile can only work with TNAS device running TOS 3.0.31 or later version.

ho humm
its ok I guess, but a little weird as a choice to administer your NAS with.. its much easier (and far more reliable) to use the NAS web interface.
Not really up to much as a way of streaming media to your phone or ipad either, full marks for playing most formats, ***
but minus several thousand for only doing it in portrait mode...
Movies play well, but only in a teeny-tiny strip in the centre of your screen...
*** After an "update"...
it now no longer plays avi, mkv or ANY other format (apart from Apples own mp4 format).
Go figure.... some UPdate...
More or less useless to me now, it WAS useful for playing media (albeit in portrait mode only), but as that function has been borked, its only use now is admin, and its performance is flaky at best, (especially as you are now adding wifi into the mix...). As mentioned previously, its far more reliable to use the web interface.
Was it even worth it?
Seriously, is the app worth it? It feels like it's decades old, lacks any modern features, the UI is childish. Send me a cheque and I'll happily build a proper App for you. One that actually lets you restart the NAS from the app. How is this not a feature yet!?
Surprisingly functional
Gives access to quite a lot of configuration options for your NAS, making this more convenient than using the web interface.
