Well thought out app for sharing special moments with family

This app is really well thought out and the free offerings are brilliant. I was looking for a way to share photos and video clips with family and friends without overloading Facebook and Instagram. What a fantastic find it was! The features are great and a wonderful way to track your special moments. All my family and friends love checking in to see how our first son is doing, and truth be told I’m a bit addicted to updating photos! Top marks to the developers. Only small criticism is the fairly pricy paid version - £7.99/month is more than I would spend, however I appreciate they need to make money for such a fully fledged app. If it was £1.99 a month I’d probably sign up. All the same, the free version is great so thank you!

Edit: Thanks for the reply! Since writing the review I thought of a simple way to improve the app; in the notifications tab you currently need to click through to each photo to see the full comments. It would be great if you could feature the whole comments in the notification tab so it isn’t necessary to click back and forth through all the photos to see what people have written. Also it might be nice to have the option to reply/like people’s comments. Cheers!

After nearly 6 years of using this app, I thought I needed to finally review it!
Beautifully designed, you upload your photos (I do it daily) and they are displayed to you in a calendar view. To enter the days, you simply press the thumbnail, and all photos you added on that day will be brought up.
Friends and family that you have selected, will get sent an email, daily in our case, with photos you have uploaded. This is a godsend - no more getting in trouble when one of the grandparents finds out the other grandparents got sent a photo and they didn’t! They can also access the app and view in calendar view as us, the owners, do.
There’s options to add your children’s milestones and track their development which is a nice touch!
Word of warning, once you have a few pictures uploaded (years in our case), thanks to the “Flashback” section in the app, you may find yourself spending hours (yes, hours) looking back on your darling children when they were much much younger - my husband and I have spent many hours looking back on the photos and videos. It’s a really lovely touch and reminds you of some memories which may have slipped your mind.
We love this app, and I can imagine I’ll still be uploading photos of our kids for many years to come!!

Brilliant way to share our little one’s special moments

I originally downloaded this to share photos of our baby daughter with some family abroad - but now have loads of friends and family following her progress! It’s great not to inundate Instagram etc with pictures and it’s a brilliant way to share them with only close friends and family that can choose when they want to look at them. It’s also a lovely curated image calendar to look back on the last three months of her life, charting out fun and special moments - instead of scrolling through the bazillion photos in our camera rolls. It’s really well designed and intuitive to use - even my mom / Granny knows what she’s doing 😂. We love it.
