The app is fine for very basic things like checking your appointments and booking more, however there are a lot of things that could be improved with it. First of all, it is essentially impossible to use the ‘reschedule’ function if you have booked more than one session in advance, as when you go to reschedule, the calendar is sitting on the last date you booked an appointment for and it isn’t possible to go back. This means you have to cancel all future appointments and then book all of them from the beginning again. There is also no way of checking how many sessions you have left for things, E.g. I bought 10 sessions of laser for both under arms and bikini at separate times and have no idea how far along I am with either. Even checking prices or deals to buy new packages/treatments is impossible to navigate and I always end up having to just use the website instead. It’s a good concept but a LOT of work required to make it function as it is intended.

I normally have two treatments booked at the same time (they happen within the same five minute appointment but are listed as two separate treatments for billing purposes). I was told I could move them via the app if I couldn’t make it. I clicked on the appointment and moved it to a time that works, but I noticed it only moved one of the two bookings and I couldn’t move the other one as it said there were no bookings available (even though they are normally both done at the same time by the same practitioner within the space of five minutes, I literally don’t even take the goggles off). No worries, the app isn’t great, so I went into a physical clinic to ask them if they could please move the other appointment but they said they couldn’t as there weren’t two consecutive bookings available (even though common sense would dictate since both are done within the same five minute appointment, I don’t need that). Classic case of computer says no. Now I’m going to be a month behind on my treatment as that’s when I could next get an appointment, and I can guarantee the practitioner is going to use this as the reason my treatment isn’t working and I need more sessions. Poor app and poor customer service.

I booked my treatments two months ago but because of the app reset password function (which doesn’t work) I’m stuck trying to get access to my account. I’ve tried calling but the line is always engaged or you get cut off mid conversation. It shouldn’t be this hard to book appointments and the whole experience has put me off booking with Therapie ever again. They were quick to call you daily for money but when you need help they ignore your calls, emails and WhatsApp messages. Please sort out customer logins!!! It really isn’t good customer service and if I reset a password, the verification to my email should be instant, but it never appears!
