Fab for stealth learning.
Initially I found the app confusing, it’s not a detailed guide or revision app just lots of ways to interact with various bodily systems. I must admit I had my doubts when I first tried it but my 8 year old absolutely loves it, and she’s building an awareness of the body and it’s functions so now I love it too. It does lack obvious instructions (there is a guide on the website) and the price of the urogenital upgrade isn’t immediately obvious, hence only 4 stars. Overall, despite being rather scrooge-like when it comes to app purchases, I will be buying more from tiny bop.

Why did we need to have the urinary system?
I really enjoy this app but I am very exited and angry because of the urinary system so is a little bit boring but without this is really fun
DECEITFUL In-App Purchase Trick
From the time you open the app, you’re presented with the option to “GET” not “BUY” the “Urogenital System”. When you choose that option, it then shows you a very clear DOWNLOAD button but at no point warns you that there is a fee.
You then see a red screen saying, “Swipe up with two fingers to get the app.” Again, there is no warning or a fee being payable.
Once you do that, you receive an immediate prompt from the App Store to purchase this item (note, on the previous red screen, it is referred to it as an app, which can be misleading and cause parents to think they’re downloading another free app). If you aren’t paying attention because you are expecting the “app” to be free, you may inadvertently pay £0.99 for it.
This developer should say from the time the urogential system is mentioned that it has a price attached. Otherwise, it can be construed as intentionally misleading.
