Great, BUT
This is a great game, a classic even. I know I’ll return to it again and again. Whenever I find a game like this, I look for the ‘pay to disable ads’ option, and I’m willing to spend as much as a £10 one off payment to do this (maybe even more if I truly love a game — its an investment!) But I was so disappointed to find this game doesn’t offer an option to permanently turn off ads, only an option to turn them off for a number of hours. I totally understand that games like this need ad revenue to support free models, and that ads sometimes play for perks in game. But to make it so that I can’t pay to have a ‘full’/‘clean’ version of the game AT ALL? Super disappointing. I absolutely won’t be paying anything to disable ads just for a period of time — what a waste of money when they’ll just return. For all that, this is a great game, it’s just such a shame it can’t be enjoyed to its full potential
Just mediocre
I was a past Tens! player, and in the past, for me, that was enjoyable. Now, I find that in multiple cases that you can get to a point where it’s impossible for you to clear the horizontal and vertical rows. One example is when you have three rows over ten along with two more crossing them. In that case, along with several others, it’s impossible to clear unless you can accept clearing rows that add to twenty. It’s theoretically possible to get thirty although that’s rare. As of yet, allowing twenty and thirty as clear able options or adding a 3x1 rectangle should solve the issues that I see many complain about, and I’ll say it “ The sheer number of fives and sixes makes the game more annoying.” Anyways, I can’t fault it too much because I used to enjoy it in the past. Balancing the rewards for the large numbers so that twenty and thirty (numbers that are made of multiple tens) or adding a 3x1 rectangle could help balance the game as I think that’s were there are big issues. Also, ads should be reduced because it’s annoying when an ad pops in when you make your move. I’ll only say mediocre only because I enjoyed it in the past.
Great game BUT
Really enjoying this game and could see myself getting addicted to it. However there is an absolute overkill of the use of ads, literally can’t leave a game or rotate a piece without having to watch the ad. Fair enough you can pay £1.99 to remove ads but not everyone has money to spend on that type of thing.
Maybe it would be more enjoyable if the ads played when leaving/ completing then allow the use of tokens/ coins for rotating a piece, undoing a move etc.
But great game otherwise :)
