Telegraph Puzzles comes with a free 14-day trial the first time a user downloads the app. During and after this free trial, you may purchase an auto-renewing subscription through an in-app purchase. If you do not maintain a subscription you can only browse the app, but not play any of the puzzles available.
Telegraph Puzzles subscribers, or Telegraph subscribers who are entitled to Puzzles as part of their subscription are entitled to full access to the app and should log in using their existing Telegraph username and password.
Auto-renewable subscriptions:
- 1 month (£3.99) and 12 month (£29.99) durations are available for purchase
- Payment will be charged to your iTunes Account at confirmation of purchase
- Your subscription will be charged to your iTunes account at confirmation of purchase and will automatically renew (at the duration selected) unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.

Version 1.5.13 (2)
This release includes bug fixes and performance enhancements. In our previous version there was an issue where in-game achievements were appearing incorrectly for solvers. We have resolved that issue in this update and our sorry for any inconvenience caused. Please email us at product_puzzles@telegraph.co.uk if you have any feedback. Buggy app
I’ve had a subscription for around the past 18 months and with each update they seem to manage to introduce more bugs. At the moment I constantly get pop ups on the screen for progress badges. These are irritating and also inaccurate as each day it’s telling about badges that I first got many months ago, such as half completing a crossword for the first time.
The Telegraph support team aren’t good. They won’t help if you don’t have an account, which you don’t have if you subscribed via the App Store.
As much as I enjoy the puzzles I will be cancelling my subscription because there is no quality control on the app and no support with it

Clunky slow annoying pop ups ….
The puzzles feature within the main app was far better than this. This app is poor in its click to action response. On almost every click I have to slowly wait and press several times the digit or letter I want to enter … and wait to check it has registered 🤯🤬 particularly making the ‘timed’ playing utterly pointless. On average it takes me a whole 7 minutes more to complete a puzzle like Sudoko because of this. Thoroughly irritating! You can’t even load up to the link email to report issues. The screen just sits with the app stuck on loading. As I complete half of a sudoko puzzle I now have a pop up every single time I enter a new number, a pop up to tell me halfway there … this blocks the puzzle and the numbers again further delaying me moving on to the next number I wish to enter. Honestly Telegraph what on earth are you thinking here!!! This needs ditching. Please bring back functioning puzzle feature within the main telegraph app. Please support that option. This app is not fit for purpose!

Annoying pop-up - update
A really annoying “progress” pop-up has recently been added, which other reviewers have complained about. Please can the developers either kill it or give us a way to switch it off. I would have given the app a 4-star rating before this “feature” arrived.
**Update: It’s now been fixed! Thank you guys, now here’s the 4 stars for a pretty good app!
