Good, but not?

Right so a few weeks I got sketches pro, after having the free version for years, and it was good for about a week, but then everything started lagging and if I close the app for even a second all my drawings upload to the cloud (not necessarily a complaint can you just tell me how to stop) and my WiFi isn’t the best, at all, so it took like an hour to load it in again, which is a shame because sketches is an app I like to use on buses and when I have short breaks (and no paper) and idk mabye it’s not you it might be my storage or smt but if you know how to fix it that would be great. this is a great app, I really love it and even if you don’t have a stylus it’s still fun to work with and overall the best drawing app you could have. Also I can’t find my drawings on sketches community so just a suggestion but can you add a section for your own drawings and see if anyone looks at them? (Yes I did wait the 24 hrs multiple times) And it kind of crashes a lot now and I’m working on this drawing and it never saves on sketches, only in photos, which is kinda messed up so yea bug fixes would be nice :3

The new update is ok, but..

I like the new update, since you can edit the ruler, but I think that's all we needed.. the colour bar in the bottom corner didn't need to be bigger, because it covers up more of the screen, especially when you go to change the colour, also, the bars on the right where you change the opacity and size, i don't know why that changed, but I preferred it when you could tap then it would go there, and now that has a cover behind it so that also covers more of the screen.
The app it's self didn't need to change because it's more annoying, thought the idea that you can change the direction of the ruler was the only useful thing.

Apart from that the app is great, best drawing app there is apart from that update. Don't let what iv said think it's bad because it's really not, the tools have their own characteristics and you can add as many layers as you want.

Nice and simple drawing app

Great app. The simplicity helps make it fairly intuitive. Lovely natural brushes and even wet paper ink bleeding! The niggles are primarily the brush and opacity sliders. It is never clear what size of brush or opacity one is using until opening the very fiddly sliders. The sliders are not labelled, so it is very easy to accidentally change the wrong one. There is no undo or reset to the correct size. What’s more confusing is that there is a second brush editor at the top of the screen. It’s a feature request that this is made more user friendly and brush size/opacity can be viewed when using the tool itself (like in real life!). The textures are great. Again, only one niggle is that some, such as the risograph ones do not repeat. This means your ‘risograph’ will show an unsightly and unexpected tiling effect. These two small things only stand out because this is a near perfect app. It’s fantastic value and thoughtfully made for any age of artist. The free version is generously featured. The pricing for pro is extremely fair and I strongly encourage people to upgrade to pro to support the developer, it’s not much for the extra features.
