Description
Use the SynScan app to control Sky-Watcher telescope mounts via Wi-Fi or Bluetooth LE. Mounts without built-in Wi-Fi can be supported via a SynScan Wi-Fi adapter.
This is the Pro version of the SynScan app and contains features suited for expert users using equatorial mounts.

- Control telescope mount to slew, align, GOTO and track.
- Point And Track: track celestial objects (including the Sun and planets) without aligning.
- Support gamepad navigation.
- Browse a catalog of stars, comets, and deep sky objects. Or, save your own objects.
- Provide access to mount for use by third-party apps, including ASCOM clients, SkySafari, Luminos, Stellarium Mobile Plus, Stellarium Desktop or customer-developed apps. Also set up mount alignment for Luminos, Skysafari.
- Support access to the mount and the SynScan app from any platform that supports TCP/UDP connections.
- Provide emulator mount for testing and practicing.
- Track fast-moving earth satellites by working with the PreviSat app on Windows PC or the Lumios app on iOS devices.
- Perform polar alignment with or without a polar scope.
- Control shutter release (SNAP) port to trigger an attached camera. (Requires mount with SNAP port and adapter cable that matches camera.)
- Use ASCOM to perform autoguiding on mounts that do not have autoguider (ST-4) port.
- Other mount controls: auto home, PPEC, park.

Good App
Works well when the connection is not playing up. I use game pad buttons over the direction keys for ease of use in the dark. No solar tracking on the App (there is on the PC version??)
Nice App, unsuitable for stargazing.
Bought the Sky-Watcher AZ-GTI head yesterday on impulse. Downloaded this app and tested it with the mount last night. Seems to work just fine.
One thing that really bugs me though. When in night mode a white bar remains at the top of the display ruining night vision. Also, what’s worse is that when you want to input a Messier number for example up pops the bright white keypad blinding you even when you have turned the brightness down! All this in night mode!!! That’s on my iPhone XS Max. It’s the same on my wife’s iPhone 6. What’s the point of having night mode that ruins your night vision?
THIS APP IS CRAP FOR ACTUAL STARGAZING!
No landscape mode
Still get white bar at the top in night mode 3 years after it was in a review.
No landscape option , would be nice as using an iPad
