Description
With Synctrain you can securely synchronize files with other devices that have Syncthing installed. You can choose to synchronize full folders, or choose specific files. With Synctrain you can also stream audio and video files from other devices.
When you synchronize files, all changes, including deleting files, also happen on your other devices. Do not use Synctrain for back-up purposes, and always keep a back-up of your data. You decide with which devices you share which files. This also means the app makers cannot help you access or recover any lost files.
This app is powered by Syncthing. This app is however not associated with or endorsed by Syncthing nor its developers. Please do not expect support from the Syncthing developers. Instead, contact the maker of this app if you have questions.

Version 1.6
The app can now display thumbnails of files on other devices and possibly share them between devices. Options have been added to the photo synchronization function. In addition, the app is now even more stable and faster.

I had basically given up on trying to sync files between devices, not wanting to spend a lot of money on cloud storage and iCloud drive continuing to be unpredictable and unreliable.
This took a good 10 minutes to setup on my devices but once I did it just worked, it actually does the thing that iCloud drive promised and works faster because it doesn't need to sync to an external server if it doesn't need to. Thanks for making this!

Just the App I've Been Looking For!
I've been following the development of SyncTrain on GitHub and the Syncthing forums for the past few weeks, and I'm excited to see it finally available on the App Store. Kudos to Tommy for creating this app; I look forward to seeing where future development takes the project!
