SuperPlanner: Daily Planner 4+

Great app that is just missing a few things, firstly, it desperately needs a proper view system, weeks and month view are essential & basic features in all calendars/productivity apps, I’m very surprised they’re missing. Having a proper overview of your time is a must have and hope this will be implemented soon.

Secondly, some of the interaction can be tedious, if I need to add multiple tasks to an activity I have to click done and then press the + button, please make this more intuitive by using the return key to move onto the next task, again, I’m very surprised that this isn’t implemented already. The placement of the button is also quite annoying and would be better at the top of the screen with the other buttons as this is where the eye naturally looks for these sorts of things.

If you do not assign a task to an activity or a day it just sort of gets lost somewhere & must use the search function to find it again, it does not go to the inbox as I would expect. I would also like to see the activity blocks being used better. If I have a 3 hour event for example, instead of just a big empty block it would be useful to see info such as notes or tasks filling up that space instead of having to click in and out of boxes all the time.

The overall usability & navigation of the app is not very intuitive & I find it quite cumbersome.

I would like to see an option for postponing an activity for set times I.e 5/10 mins etc rather than having to manually adjust the start/finish times, it’s time consuming to do this when I just need 5 extra minutes before starting something (like if I am held up talking to a colleague) - this would be very very useful as a watch feature.

With that said, I’m very happy using the app, it’s useful, not over complicated and the premium features are worth the cost. Only essential data is collected & offers a one time purchase also, both huge green flags for me, the subscription is very reasonably priced regardless.

This feels like the missing link between calendar and reminders. Not sure if you can sync the reminders setup in the app with the native iOS reminders as I would still look to use reminders as an overall repository of items I need to do, especially personal stuff.

Going to download the iPad and Mac apps next.

I really love the app so far, finally a planner that isn’t automatically the calendar. I can add things here that don’t get seen in my calendar but I *can* see my calendar events in this app. I love the UI, clean and simple, and I love that everything works across all my devices. This is a 10/10 app!
