Description
SAM junior was created to help young people between 12 and 18 years old with an autism spectrum disorder with stress.
SAM Junior was created from the need of young people, parents and care providers to gain more insight into perceived stress and how to deal with it. It also helps the user to see which things are going well or not so well. SAM junior can also help you prepare for future stressful events.
The app is scientifically substantiated and was created by GGz Centraal for and by young people between the ages of 12 and 18 with an autism spectrum disorder. The app was developed in collaboration with the research organization TNO.
With SAM junior you can:
• Determine your current stress level using a questionnaire (SAM junior uses a scientifically validated algorithm for this)
• Get an idea of times of the day and daily activities that go well and those that go less well
• Get tips to reduce your stress at any time of the day
• Enter your own tips or try those of others
• Use the journal to write down your thoughts and feelings
• Discuss your weekly overview of stress levels with a friend, loved one or practitioner (only if you want to, you are in control)

Bug fix: questionnaire is not always shown:
To prepare a questionnaire, the number of the previously completed questionnaire was taken into account. If this corresponded to the questionnaire that should be active, the questionnaire was not displayed. An example: On day 1, the user only completes questionnaire 1 (the first questionnaire of the day). On day 2 the user opens the notification of the first questionnaire of the day (questionnaire 1), then it was not shown, because it was seen as the same questionnaire (questionnaires had the same number). This was solved by also looking at the day of the questionnaire.
Bug fix: Tip on the 'today' page is not updated after completing the questionnaire (this was only seen on the acceptance version, not on production)
Minor maintenance carried out: a number of software packages (libraries) have been updated.
