Description
Any kid can become a smart and savvy shopper with Storest, brought to you by the creators of Foldify! Storest is a fun iPad app that teaches kids about money and shopping through a hands-on approach, with the option of playing in both virtual and printable modes.
Featuring a variety of attractive products, bills and coins, and even a realistic checkout, Storest lets you recreate the experience of a store in your own home or classroom. Encourage group play by printing out products with scannable bar codes, along with foldable shelves to hold the goods - just like in a real shop! Fill your basket, scan the bar codes using your iPad front camera, and count up the change while completing your purchase.
In addition to learning to count and use money, kids will love the colorful graphics and realistic sound effects of Storest. The option of printing products extends play beyond the app, seamlessly merging it with real world experiences.

Ratings and Reviews
Excellent tactile app ideal for getting kids talking
This is an excellent app for kids aged 3-6 or so - our 8 year old loves to play on it too . It’s simple, but engaging, with the added feature that you can print out the shopping items onto card, complete with their individual bar-codes, and kids can scan them into a virtual cash register. There’s many play possibilities and all of them can involve interaction with others – alleviating the main disadvantage of the iPad as an educational tool, where kids simply sit & stare at the screen. It’s also a great way to get the concept of money across and even simple (or quite complex if you’re giving change) maths too.
High recommended. Very good for children with special needs. Great fun for kids to play with adults.
Developers have added at least one new shopping set since launch too.
Great and simple
My 3 year old son loves this and is always playing it. Great way to teach them about basic shopping.
Great App
Really good little app that has helped teach the principal of a store, money, etc.
