App Doesn’t Work
You constantly have to remove and re-register via Bluetooth as it stops working randomly. Does not event last couple of days until you have to reactivate it.
It was not like this last year
Bluetooth Device Licence Issue
Since moving from iPhone 14 to 16 and up to iOS 18.1 the Bluetooth connection drops after a day. I assume the iPhone is disconnecting to save power draw on Bluetooth as the i96 is no longer on the list of licenced Bluetooth devices. If this is the case, will StarLine be renewing the licence or offering an alternative app? Using push buttons seems clumsy in comparison to the Bluetooth sync for system disarm, valet mode, etc.
i96 CAN and Bluetooth
The only reason I got StarLine was its ability to unlock the car when my phone is present over Bluetooth. It used to work fine until Apple’s IOS 17 update. It has never worked since then. Many of my friends are experiencing the same issue. StarLine support is useless, I emailed them about this issue but got no response.
