Description

Accurately Grade and Measure Stamp Perforations

The Stamp Analyser digitally measures the stamp perforations, the stamp frame and the balance among the four margins to determine the centering grade of the stamp. It also allows you to measure the distance between any two points on a scanned or photographed image. The Stamp Analyser provides this information based on accurate measurement; no more guesswork. All you need to do is to provide a good scan or a good photograph of the stamp and the Stamp Analyser does the rest.

Optionally, you can add the stamp Soundness and Eye Appeal components to obtain the final grade. The Soundness and Eye Appeal components are based on the PSE Grading Guide.

The Stamp Analyser user interface has been designed to be intuitive and simple. On the Mac, you simply drag and drop your stamp image into the Stamp Analyser. On the iPad and iPhone, you can either take a photo of the stamp or select it from the photo library.

IOS 11 or higher required.

It’s okay, could be better

The camera is a bit fussy and doesn’t like stamps on a white background.

Good recognition, but the result is saved in a PDF. Ideally it would be great if the results could be saved in a listed inventory.

PDF file any chance you could include the name of the stamp in the PDF? Shows info on the analyser screen, but not on the PDF, which is sort of the most important bit.

Developer Response ,

Sorry of the late reply.. we were unable to respond to the reviews.
We will definitely Look in to the PDF version and include the stamp name.

Please note that iIn order to find the perforations, the stamp analyser needs to a contrast between the background and the stamp. White does not provide that contrast. That is why we recommend that you use a black background.

Thanks for your feedback.

Developer Response ,

As this app has been in use for many years and we have had a considerable amount of positive feedback, we are surprised to read your comment. We would certainly like to sort out your issue. Could you please provide either the stamp image or a screen shot.
Based on your comment, it seems like a setup issue.

Thanks
