Stage Traxx 3 4+

The title says it all. Stage Traxx puts meals onto my table to be blunt. It is probably the best live stage software on the market on any platform in my opinion.

I’ve used it since early v2.x and it was excellent then. This version which is a total re-write has surpassed it by a long way. The author listens to customers requirements and implements them quickly and effectively.

Performers are all very different with different needs so trying to cater for everyone is impossible but this comes very close. I use almost every feature to its extreme in my act including remote control, midi and multi user. All work well and are stable which is essential when you are on stage with hundreds of people in the audience.

V3.0 attracted some criticism re the interface changes but these were very quickly addressed giving even wider options for use so those criticism in previous reviews can, in my opinion, now be discounted.

There are features I would “like” to have and have the confidence in the author that the will be incorporated....as long as they didn’t take operation away from other users which is important.

What more could you possibly ask? This software is inexpensive yet has enabled me to recoup it value thousands of times over.

A great program packed with useful features. I use it for my live performance, which is two or three times a week, sometimes more. I have now setup my vocal effects unit to be controlled via Stagetraxx, so that when I select a song to play, Stagetraxx sends a MIDI message to my effects unit, selecting the correct effect that I created. In the future I plan to control my guitar effects unit and later perhaps even my lights! The support is possibly the best type, meaning your questions are answered not only VERY promptly, but by Peter, who is the creator of this wonderful program. I’ve used many different systems over the 40+ years of performing and so far Stagetraxx is by far, the best.

I use this app for playing my own-recorded backing tracks when performing. This is the perfect tool that replaces my previous laptop/software method. I have used this for some time now, and I’m extremely happy with its performance and stability.
As well as playing the tracks with lyrics, I now use Bluetooth MIDI to control my vocal effects selection on my digital PA mixer, my patch selection on my guitar effects processor, and for controlling my sync’d light show with my light controller via DMX. I can now concentrate on my performance, rather than having to set things up for the next track manually. Sweet!!!!
