Stable… however…

App used in conjunction with IPhone 16Pro Max.

Fully charged phone in set up and left in housing for over 6 hours and still have 40% left!

Resulting footage varied from brilliant to terrible, mostly down to autofocus, especially at distance, in conditions that are very blue. Eg. Mantas while snorkelling, AF favoured all the particles in the water over the massive mantas.

Limitations of app settings to unlock the potential of the iPhone16 Pro Max leaves me feeling a bit shortchanged.

Also would be an idea to have more ‘depth’ rated WB settings, than just UW Shallow/Deep. Need one default one for Snorkelling.

Red display while recording very hard to see underwater, would be better in a white block than just text over the screen.

Tips for new users.
- Always use the red filter (can take red out, but can’t add it back In post production)
- Keep the filter and housing screen clean after every dive.
- Do NOT use auto WB (Be consistent, makes colour processing stills/video much easier)

Loads of scope for improvement, but system works well.

Please update for iphone 13 pro

Doesn’t seem to match up with iphone 13 pro capability. 4k 60fps isn’t available when triple lens option is selected. It also thinks the telephoto lens is 2.0x when it is 3.0x on iphone 13 pro.

Have had brilliant footage out of this/sport diver housing combo but needs a few updates

App freezing mid-dive

Don’t buy this case and download the app. The equipment is very cumbersome and inconvenient, it’s huge and requires a very long set up process. But that’s no the issue. Once you manage to get it all set up and start your dive, the app will freeze and you cannot do anything else with it. You can’t take any more pics/video… nothing. You have to end the dive, go back on the boat, dry up, open the case and quite the app manually. So of course, it ruined the dive. I had 4 dives in Mexico with it, it froze on 3 of them. And now I’m battling for a refund. Useless!
