Description

Start eating intentionally today with SpoonMe. If you’re looking to enjoy food more mindfully, connect with loved ones over meals, and savor what you truly love, rather than settling for what’s merely convenient, SpoonMe is here to help. Featuring AI-powered food journaling, smart recipe imports, curated cookbooks, and a social feed to share your culinary adventures, SpoonMe empowers you to eat intentionally while strengthening your connections with others.

We created SpoonMe because we felt other apps were more like an administration tool for weight instead of a tool to explore and discover great food, making it easier to eat healthy. We wanted our food app to store our recipes, enable us to track what we are eating in a journal style, and connect us with our communities. It didn’t exist, so we had to make it!

Food Journal: You want to see what you are eating each day to make sure you are being intentional. But you don’t want it to be an administration tool. You want it to feel cozy, like you are journaling to yourself. SpoonMe fits that need perfectly.
AI powered food tracking: Take photos of the meals you eat during the day and our AI tooling gets you 90% of the work done in 10% of the effort. We tell you all the ingredients in your photo, match them up to our database of 390,000 foods with nutritional values.
Track a meal in about 30 seconds with high levels of accuracy, and easy controls to tweak when something was missed. Food journaling has never been easier.

Recipes and Cookbooks:
Free recipes import from your favorite sources powered by AI
Cookbooks for you to store your recipes in a place that makes it easy to cook. We want to be the place you can trust with your recipes forever.
Cooking Mode: Click “start” in the recipe instruction section to get an easy to use interface for preparing your meals.
Hands free cooking mode: We have voice powered instructions for when your hands are dirty and you can’t navigate your phone. Just say “next” or “back” and navigate the clutter free instructions

Social feed:
SpoonMe’s goal is to help you eat intentionally while helping you connect more with those you love (or just like!).
Our feed lets you follow your friends and loved ones to see what they have been cooking lately. Let’s be honest, most of us don’t want to share our food pics on social networks. But many of us want to see what new food finds our friends are discovering.
SpoonMe makes it easy to share your favorite foods with your friends, while being able to attach the recipe directly to the post instead of saying “link in bio!”

Developer Response ,

Dave, I am sorry to hear this is happening. Somehow this review escaped my attention. I am Matt, the founder of SpoonMe. Please reach out at support@spoonme.kitchen and I'd love to troubleshoot this with you. I saw an error as well during December for a certain flow for sign in, but I thought we had fixed it. I'd love to work on this with you.

Thanks for sharing your feedback. It helps us improve!
