Split the Pic : Instant Grids 4+

I’m warning you now...

This is how it will go:

1. you download it for free

2. use the app as intended (to split an image)

3. all works fine so you click on “save to camera roll”

This is where they trick you...

4. you click to go off the app to go see your photos

5. before this happens, a quick pop up comes on the screen charging you £2.99 just to SAVE YOUR OWN PHOTO BACK TO YOUR CAMERA ROLL

6. but your thumb is already on the home button ready to go to see your photos so YOU GET CHARGED FOR SOMETHING YOU WEREN’T EXPLICITLY WARNED YOU HAD TO PAY FOR and probably didn’t want to pay for considering there are plenty of FREE apps that you can use to do the exact same thing!

It wouldn’t be so bad if they made it clear that you will be charged to save photos to your camera roll but they are sneakily doing it to trick you into it.

And it definitely wouldn’t be so bad if YOU ACTUALLY HAVE THE PHOTOS SAVED TO YOUR CAMERA ROLL - BUT YOU DO NOT!

When I went to see how good this image splitting app is (as it claims it’s the best for Instagram) the photos weren’t even saved.

So I have been CHARGED £2.99 for absolutely NOTHING.

WASTE of time

WASTE of money

WASTE of my life I’ll never get back.

I have already sent an email asking for a full refund but judging by other reviews I’m not likely to get one...

If the trial expired you have to get unlock the features you by purchasing the in-app. After the trial there is no way you could use the app for free. App works to the point of saving the output to the camera roll, however at this point payment is required to export. Was happy to pay as the interface is easy and clean, however after paying when trying to export the images, the app simply crashes. £1.99 down for nothing.

We are extremely sorry to let you down. We found that to save photos in iOS 11, app needed special permission. Since the app did not ask the permission app got crashed.

We finally managed to fix the issue in version 1.0.2 of the app. If the issue is gone when you get the version 1.0.2 of the app could you please update your review ? If not please send us an email to sandya.leelarathne@gmail.com.

Ok so I think a month ago I wrote a positive comment because they actually didnt asked for money when I was using the share method but after 10 times using it they asked £2.99 JUST TO OPEN ONE SLOT OF THE PICTURE seriously why hasn't this app taken down already so many bad reviews and I am just adding the pile it will actually be good for us and good for you guys too seriously how can you just take up the hate and still reply not saying that you guys should be shamed of it replying is a good solution if you ACTUALLY HELPED US and I know you can't do that however just imagine if you were in our place here what would you feel I am so so sorry if you are not empathetic and can't even feel sorry for us and I know that you are used to the hate because you replied everybody comment but don't hate on me just say "No" if you don't want to help I will actually be happy rather than writing a reply which will make me a lit hurt and a lot angry inside you properly feel this everyday Your a brave person

And yes I am wasting my time and I am greedy
