Not the best

Setting up is a bit clunky & the door takes ages to appear in the app once set up, leading you into believing it didn’t work.

My 2 doors both went offline whilst I was away & as such I have been unable to reconnect them remotely as they don’t appear to auto-reconnect again. I ended up having to remove them from the app & re-add them in order to get them to connect again, which means if you encounter any internet issues whilst you are away from home, then you are now unable to do anything.

I found upon returning home that the clock had changed on the unit - not sure if that is linked to the change in time zones on my phone or a weird coincidence but worth bearing in mind if, like me, I noticed my birds were out earlier than expected & then locked out if they didn’t go to roost before the door shut (if set it to a timer rather than being triggered by day light).

I have also found the battery life is rubbish on these doors so they need to be hard wired, otherwise it’ll disconnect from the app again.

I tried contacting the support email in the app about this & got no response so support appears non existent.

DSR UPDATE: Clocks changed this weekend & had led to even more issues.
The door does not update to reflect actual time as per the phone the app is running off or anything, so I tried changing the time manually.
This failed as the clock won’t accept the changes & simply reverts back seconds after i confirm the changes.
So I made the mistake of unbinding the doors, deleting the app & setting up like new & now they have changed to China time & I cannot change them back at all. I’ve spent an hour outside in the freezing cold trying to get them back onto something even remotely in the same time zone as the UK, to no avail, so have now ended up deleting everything, unplugging the doors & in the morning will try again.
This should not be this hard for a damn automatic door.
This product has such potential but is let down by a poor app & even poorer customer service.
Having spent hundreds on these items it’s disgraceful that you get no support from this company.
Not impressed at all & I won’t be recommending them to my followers on my channel after this.
