The latest version is very clunky - not as smooth as the last one.
When playing with a partner, the partner often makes stupid mistakes and doesn't maximise the tricks.
Otherwise it is a very enjoyable game and offers hours of fun.

Good version, as long as you know about Skat already

The automated players are reasonably competent and the game play is good.

The graphics are pretty good, including 3 styles of cards, and you can pick and choose from a good range of variations in the rules, just like non-tournament players.

The big problem is that almost everything is in German, including all the information about Skat as a game. Even the parts translated are in foreigner's English - e.g. "Speedy did play Grand". So if the game is new to you, you should read the Pagat web site, or a card games book by David Parlett. It's worth doing so, as Skat is a game well worth trying.

The other point worth knowing is that this app doesn’t include playing games with other online humans.

Great! I find it well done and enjoy playing a great deal. The improvement with each update are useful and not at all gimmicky. English language could be better.
