Genius app ! Shopping must have ! (And not only) 😉
I’ve been using Listonic for many years (I think from 2014?)—for grocery shopping, travel packing, and even integrating it with my blog so that readers can instantly turn recipe ingredients into a shopping list! Convenience level: chef’s kiss!
The app just keeps getting better, and the new feature that matches discounts to my shopping list? Absolute gold! Now I’m just waiting for more countries and stores to be added—living in the UK, I’d love to see Sainsbury’s or Morrisons pop up.
Huge kudos to the developers—Listonic is my go-to for everyday shopping, trips, and last-minute plans with friends (because yes, we share lists all the time). Simple, brilliant, and totally essential! 🫶🏼
Could be better!
I have used Apple notes for some time but needed something better!
Initial impressions were good, but then I tried to understand the unit, quantity and price fields! I recorded an item as having a unit of grams and a quantity of 300 with a price of £1.00, and was surprised when I went back to the list and saw the price of the item recorded as £300!
Clearly the quantity field refers to number of products to be purchased, not the size of the product. How do you then record the size of the product to be purchased, to distinguish between a 500g bottle or a 1000g bottle, and if you want to add in the price field if the quantity is more than 1 the price has to be entered as price per unit to make sense?!
Also sorting by categories does not work consistently all the time!
I might just stick with Apple notes!
Very Good List but needs tweaking
Great list that you can add your own items and prices to as well. Also gives you what the total price of your bill will be. Only fault I found was that when you delete your list after doing shopping the prices of the items that you put in get deleted as well, meaning you have to put them in manually every time. Not w problem if you know the prices off by heart, but if not you are putting them in while walking around shopping, so slowing your shopping experience down.
