With the Shift Provider App you can take on new courier jobs across the UK, helping people get their things from A to B. When you join Shift you will become a Shifter and join a network of 1000s of drivers. You will be moving everything and anything, so no day is the same!
Who is the Shift Provider App for?
The Shift Provider App is free for anyone; and whether you have a bike, car, or van, you can Shift. This is perfect for you if you want to make some extra money in your free downtime.
What can you do on the app?
On the app you can accept or decline moving jobs all from your phone. Whether you are moving a sofa or a surfboard, there is never a dull day with Shift.
What happens when I download the app?
When you download the app you will need to set up a profile. One of our Driver Service team members will then contact you and help you with your first job.

- We can ship fixes and features faster now with Patches. When you see the Update Available banner on the Schedule or Collections screens tap on it to download and install.
- We have improved how we display locker codes on the job details page.

Ratings and Reviews
Hopeless app?
So you swipe to accept a job and then it is manually reviewed by the allocation team before the job is given to you. I swiped to accept a job when there were only 7 jobs available that day, over 20 hours later and the job has still not been allocated. SHIFT is a great concept but the review/allocation team needs some serious attention otherwise drivers will just switch off from it.
Update - if anything this has gone from bad to worse. I have swiped for several jobs and still the same delays as above, however, something worse than that has also came about. I swiped a job for £200 that had a round trip mileage of about 350 miles, I chased up the allocation team on instant chat but was told the price was wrong and it was £50! So for what would have been an 8 hour day with the drive, pick up and drop off and back you would have got £50 but also had to pay your own fuel which would have been about £50. Who in their right minds would have done that job for nothing and added 350 miles worth of wear and tear to their vehicle?
SCAMMERS
Most disgusting company to work with… they mess with payments all the time. They changed payment terms from weekly to 29 and then to 45 days four each individual job just to make you lose track of payments and make things confusing and they they will not pay some of the jobs randomly… caught them so many times. They will put random charges on your account which you are not being informed and you are not aware because they never send invoices… keep asking for a month for invoices and no reply back. If you need to reach customer service for pay queries, you reached a dead end. Most ignorant and illegal company.
Scammers
Be careful, I’ve been working with this company for 2 years, I’m waiting now 70 days no payments made. after 45 days payment terms they’ve never followed, no customers service that you can reach, they don’t pay your money, most of the time they are missing with my money, they’ve deducted £1700 random amounts. every time new charges you’ll never know what is it for.
