You can purchase "Shadowmap Home" as monthly or yearly subscription. You can subscribe and pay through your iTunes account. Payment will be charged to your iTunes account at confirmation of purchase. Your subscription will automatically renew unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You may manage your subscriptions and turn off auto-renew after purchase by going to the ‘Manage Subscription’ page in settings. Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited if you purchase a subscription, where applicable. All subscriptions will renew at their respective cost.

My house doesn’t exist
Apparently my house no longer exists, and neither do any houses on the historic 300 years old street except the ones on each end. Disappointing to say the least.

Hi, we're sorry that your area is not covered yet. We're working with data providers and do not compile our own building data, data coverage varies globally, especially outside of cities. This is one reason why we don't hide the map behind a paywall, so you can check before you buy. We will soon release an update that will integrate Google 3D Tiles for Shadowmap – this should cover your building too. We would be happy if you check back again soon and perhaps update your review once this release is out. Thank you!
Amazing tool for outdoor fans
I used shadowmap on my road trip in my van to find the best sunset and sunrise spots every day. We also run a glamping business and we used shadowmap to decide where to set up the tents so that they would have the perfect location in terms of not getting too hot in summer but still being able to enjoy BBQ in the golden light of sunset. I’m finding new ways how shadowmap can help me all the time. Looking for a new house, we are checking every potential candidate on shadowmap for the ideal lighting. Amazing tool that so far worked on every location I tried it. 5 stars!!
Only architectural shadows
This is a really cool idea and the app functions well, however it doesn’t include shadows cast by mountains which is a shame. I’m sure it must be possible using topographical maps.
If you’re using it out of the mountains it’s great.

Hi, thank you for your feedback! We've improved Shadowmap in many ways since you wrote this review – one update is that we added cascaded shadow maps, which should drastically improve the shadow visualisation of mountains. We'd be happy to hear your thoughts about your experience now!
