Sennheiser Smart Control 4+

When I try to record myself on voice memo , it works for exactly 5 seconds and then I hear “CALL ENDED” even though I am not in call and stops the recording and starts playing music even without music app being opened , I have the 1st gen PXC 550 and it works with that and another issue I have as 1st gen had but the second gen does’t have is the ability to change the EQ from the headphones remapping the voice assistant button as it says on the official manual that the “sound effects are stored on the headphones not in app so can be used on other Bluetooth devices” well is not possible , because if I want that with my laptop I have to reconnect to my phone adjust it in the app and then reconnect to my laptop, is just super annoying and more then that the app is laggy and in order to change i.e. the we from music to movie on my computer takes forever all that process with connecting to my phone and reconnecting and waiting for the laggy app … please make these 2 changes as other than that is all perfect 1. MAKE THE HEAPHONES ABLE TO BE USED AS RECORDING DEVICE FOR MY IPHONE IN VOICE APP AND NOT INTERRUPT AFTER 5 SECONDS , and 2. GIVE THE ABILITY TO REMAP THE VOICE ASSISTANT BUTTON FOR CHANGING SOUND EFFECTS. PLZ PLZ PLZ PLZ PLZ SENNHEISER! Thanks !

Take back my earlier review but I had to use the ethernet connection to get it sparkling again! Yep, that's gonna upset a few.
After a bit of fiddling the new app to my surprise connected to the ambeo soundbar, you don't have to use an ethernet cable but for some reason, it seems to work better, no idea, maybe it updates the hardware where the wireless is a mess.
One thing you may have to set it up in google home, so do all this and you'll get it running, or read the painful instructors that someone has probably translated for non-easy understanding.
Great soundbar, the app they haven't spent more than a few quid designing.

On paper, this app is excellent. Allows you to adjust two extremely important things about the headphones (I’m using the Momentum 4s), being the EQ and the ANC.

So frustratingly, the EQ never sticks. Every time I turn the headphones off and go to use them again, the EQ resets. Sometimes while listening I can hear the EQ resetting. I can go hours using them and it works fine, then other days the EQ resets in a mere matter of minutes. It is infuriating in its arbitration. The preset I have created saves just fine, but the EQ resets. Why doesn’t it just stick to the headphones?

The bugs and slowness are frustrating. I love the headphones but I just want the app to work more effectively. For some it won’t be an issue, but this has been annoying me for weeks now. The EQ is important for me, and I want it to stick for longer than 5 minutes.
