Registration
Schools must be subscribed to SchoolPing for teachers and parents to use the app. Login details will be supplied to all users. If a user has lost their details they can be retrieved from the school.

Doesn’t fit iPhone 15 Pro Max screen
PLEASE PLEASE update the app to fit the new model iPhone Pro Max screen & iOS 17.
The top left menu dropdown cannot be accessed - simply does not open when pressed.
Also the X to close when in a message does not respond - the only way to close each message is to swipe away the entire app to close, then restart.
Lastly push notifications are also not working.
Please fix these these faults, the app is much needed but currently extremely frustrating to use.

Atrocious app that literally isn’t fit for purpose!
I rarely leave reviews but Ping is so, so bad that I feel like I have to warn people! I think it’s really awful that they claim to provide a service to schools and parents but then just…don’t.
Notifications don’t work, at all, on most phones. I can almost never mark things as read - the app just adds them back as unread. Messages randomly appear and disappear. It takes a full 20-30 seconds just to open each message on a decent phone. The update made everything worse, not better. I honestly rue the day the school decided to swap from emails to this app.
For the love of god, School Ping, just sort it out. For the amount of money you must be raking in from all these cash strapped schools, you really should have better app development. These are basic functions that don’t work.

Horrendous App
I feel like I’m losing my mind trying to use this app. As a message board, providing school updates etc it’s grand however, as soon as you delve into having to interact and complete any type of form the whole things falls to pieces.
* entering information into a field automatically redirects you to the top of the form. Scroll half way back down the form to insert the next piece of information, surprise surprise it redirects you to the top of the form - simple bit of coding should address this to make life a bit easier?!
*most people use their mobile phones to store contact numbers…. heaven forbid you need to jump from one app to your contacts directory to copy and paste some info 🤣 it’ll wipe all the previous information in your form and you have to go through to pain of filling everything in from scratch.
*If for whatever reason you download the app on a new device, you’re prompted for an inactivity passcode - 4 digits - the app bricks itself and doesn’t acknowledge the request.
Please put your apps through proper testing before going live. Life’s hard enough without having to deal with this shambolic app every 6 weeks 🥴🥴
