The Ruter app gives you full mobility in Oslo and Akershus. Find all departures and get around with public transport such as trams, metro, buses and ferries. Select your preferred modes of transport, find the best routes and buy your tickets – all in one app.

Tips to get even more out of the Ruter app:

Fantastic
A great app with plenty of information. The unified transport system is fantastic and getting live updates on the ETA of your bus is extremely useful (makes waiting in the rain less of a chore!)
Would be great if it was compatible with Apple Watch too but that may be asking too much.

Impressed
I find the app user-friendly and with a pleasing minimalistic design. The fact that the public transport system in Oslo is unified and under one app is also very handy - something most UK cities are years away from achieving.

Very useful
I used this app last week whilst in Oslo and very impressed with how easy and quick you can get information on the trains, trams and buses. Really made our travels round so easy. Definite must have whilst in Oslo.
