App not programs not very user friendly
So I had a new boiler installed today and the company supplied me with this thermostat that I can control using my phone, great I thought.... until I started using it!
I can only apparently have 6 programmes so when it gets cold at night I’ll have to wake up and turn on manually. It’s difficult to understand how to set the start and stop times and days too! Hope there’ll be an update soon....
Great - when it works!
I’ve had this for a while now, and when it’s working fine (about 70% of the time) it’s great, easy to use and controllable on my phone. But - and this is so annoying - when it doesn’t work it’s a flipping nightmare! The control is flashing red, and as I am now a reasonable expert on getting it to stop flashing, nothing I do this time resolves it. C’mon Salus - rebooting doesn’t work, holding the pairing button doesn’t work… give me a clue before the winter sets in please!!
4 years on and still strong
It’s a good little app, there have been times when I’ve had to restart the system to get it running again but it’s never been an issue, I bought the set up cheap and I’m impressed, half an hour to install and set up, works pretty well, I’d like to see a 30 min heating boost function. For the money it’s great value, temperamental at times but once you understand how to get around it you’re be fine.
