Both the device and the app works better than one or two others I have bought and passed on to relatives.

The unit is discreet, fitted behind the rear view mirror and is not easy to see from outside as the mirror itself is black.

I loaded the app into both my tablet and an iPhone. They both work well and the quality of the images on both is remarkable making it easy to navigate the menus and of course I have access to all the units settings. This brings me to the one and only criticism:
The positioning of the dash cam, behind the mirror, means it is not always possible the view the screen in comfort without the use of said tablet and smart phone. I invested in an additional charging cable to use it indoors.

Otherwise I am delighted with it given the constraints of its design.

Contrary to another reviewer - the App DOES allow video to be transferred from the app to the phone photos directly. Choose the save option in the video and (the first time) grant permission for the app to access your photos album.

Does make it fairly easy to control the camera setup and notifies when camera software update available.

Take care though because the camera stops recording when connected by Wi-fi to the app. Disconnect by pressing the button on side of camera to start recording again.

The large file sizes involved make it rather a chore to find and replay specific incidents at the end of a journey - unless you happen to recall the time it occurred. Then it’s better to download the clip to the phone before trying to play it.

Integration with map is great - as is ability to find a clip from the points marked on the map. Overlays of speed etc onto the video (customisable) are great.

Each version of the app seems to improve it. Still wish the camera itself could be just a tiny bit better lens wise, and I still would like a big button somewhere to press during an incident to preserve and highlight the recording.

All in all I’ve found it steadily improving and I’m a fan.

Easy to instal no need to hard drive works great with the app hardly visible behind rear view mirror easy to remove and the customer services dept are superb had a few issues due to my stupidity and quickly resolved 6 months later works great!!!
